A viral Facebook post claims that a popular weather presenter disappeared from live television after an unspecified incident during one of her broadcasts.
The image shows a woman presenting a Spanish-language weather forecast while the accompanying caption states: “This is the last time we saw her on live TV after this happened.” However, the post does not explain what allegedly occurred or provide any reliable source supporting the dramatic claim.
The presenter appears to be associated with viral clips of Mexican weather broadcaster Yanet García, who became internationally known after footage of
her television forecasts spread widely online. García began presenting weather reports in Monterrey and later appeared on national television before developing a large social-media following.
There is no credible evidence that she was suddenly removed from television because of an on-air scandal or accident. Reports indicate that García eventually moved away from traditional television and focused on modeling, acting, fitness projects and independent online content. She later relocated to the United States and continued building her public career.
The screenshot may also have been digitally altered. The presenter’s body proportions appear exaggerated, and the image should not automatically be assumed to represent an authentic, unedited television broadcast.
Posts using phrases such as “the last time she was seen” frequently withhold the supposed explanation to encourage readers to open a link or check the comments. In this case, no verified report confirms that anything tragic or scandalous happened during the broadcast.
The claim should therefore be treated as misleading clickbait rather than confirmed news.
