A sensational social-media post claims that Elon Musk released an “uncensored list” and photographs involving celebrities allegedly connected to Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The post, which pairs photographs of Musk and Combs, says the disclosure shocked the world and suggests that the names of famous people were suddenly made public. However, no credible evidence supports the claim.
Reuters found no proof that Musk announced plans to publish a Diddy-related “client list” or release secret photographs of celebrities. Similar claims circulated widely in late 2024 and early 2025, but they were not supported by an official statement, verified documents or reliable reporting.
PolitiFact reported that one version of the story originated from a page clearly labeled as satire before being reposted elsewhere without that context. The altered posts then spread as though they described a real announcement.
Musk has publicly reacted to online discussions about files connected to Combs and Jeffrey Epstein,
but expressing support for disclosure is not the same as possessing or publishing a verified list. No authenticated collection of celebrity names or compromising photographs was released by him as described in the viral post.
Following the criminal case against Combs, numerous manipulated photographs and unsupported claims linking public figures to him circulated online. Being photographed with a celebrity or attending the same public event also does not prove involvement in criminal activity.
The post should therefore be treated as false or misleading clickbait. Readers should avoid sharing alleged lists or accusing named individuals unless the information is confirmed through court records or reputable news organizations.
